Emily planned, scripted and produced Marie Curie's sector-leading podcast series, On the Marie Curie Couch. With more than 50 episodes and 100,000 listens to date, the team has secured big-name guests including Hugh Grant and Andi Oliver.

On the Marie Curie Couch has been Sunday Times Podcast of the Week and Good Housekeeping Podcast of the Month. In May 2020, it was nominated for a British Podcast Award in the Best Branded category and, in November 2023, it won two Lovie Awards in the Best Host category.

Emily led on the content for Marie Curie’s Annual Report in 2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21 and 2023/24. Each time, this meant writing about all areas of the organisation and sourcing contributions from stakeholders across the charity.

The team brought the report to life with engaging but accessible design and moving stories from real service users.

In 2019, Emily conceived and wrote a deck of conversation starter playing cards, released as part of Marie Curie’s Talkabout public awareness campaign to encourage people to talk more openly about dying and death.
